Magic Pot Monday! 30 Min Microwave Chicken

30 Minutes= The Juiciest Chicken EVERRRRR!

Emergency! Lol, my original post disappeared when I tried to add another picture! Aghhh! COMPUTERS!!! Anyhow, I WAS trying to say is that we have all bought those gorgeous golden, premade rotisserie chickens from the grocery store at one time or another. BUT, YOU.....YES YOU, can make the same chicken in 30 minutes in your microwave!!! It is true!! You will barely even have to put your hands on the pasty looking bird, except for removing the neck and giblets and placing the bird in the "Magic Pot". Who eats those neck bones and giblets anyways???? Below is what you will need:

1 tbsp. of all purpose flour, 1 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp garlic powder (I used granulated), 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp coarsely ground pepper and 1/4 tsp dried thyme.

Mix all your spices together and them spray the bird with olive oil and sprinkle your spice and herb mix on to the bird, covering it completely

THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE OUT OF THE MICROWAVE....SEE GOLDEN AND DELICIOUS!!! My family raved about how juicy and delicious it was! SCORE!!!!

CHICKEN

30 Minute Chicken

1 3 ½ - 4 lb whole chicken
1 tbsp olive oil

Seasoning
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp coarsely ground black pepper
¼ tsp dried thyme leaves

For chicken, lightly spray Deep Covered Baker with oil using Kitchen Spritzer. Remove and discard giblets and neck from chicken cavity. Rinse chicken with cold water; pat dry with paper towels. Trim excess fat using Kitchen Shears, if necessary. Tie ends of legs together with cotton string. Lift wing tips up toward neck, then tuck under back of chicken. Place chicken on Cutting Board; brush with oil using Chef's Silicone Basting Brush.

For seasoning mixture, combine ingredients in Prep Bowl; mix well. Completely coat outside of chicken with seasoning mixture. Place chicken breast side up in baker.

Microwave, uncovered on HIGH 30 minutes or until Pocket Thermometer registers 165 F in thickest part of breast and juices run clear. Remove from microwave. Cover with lid and let rest 10 minutes.
